Movement Video Project
Why learn Premiere? It's used to make movies!
News Item - Emerging Technology and the Future of Film Editing:
Avid costs $50/month ($600/year).
Premiere Pro costs $20/month ($240/year)
Both are about half that cost for student versions.
Currently the industry standard for film editing is Avid and Final Cut Pro--however, Premiere Pro is starting to be used to edit feature films and I predict it will become the #1 feature film editor in the future. See why here.
The future of film editing is making Premiere Pro into a sort of Google Docs where collaboration is used to have multiple editors working on the same project from different computers. But we're not there yet so you will not be able to edit as a team on this project.
